Baltic Agency Ranking 2024 is announced

The Baltic Agency of the Year 2024 is the Latvian agency Magic, which won first place in the Baltic Agency Ranking for the third time.

Best Marketing has published the Baltic Agency Ranking since 2014, this year will be the 11th time of the ranking table. The ranking indicates the creative excellence of advertising/communications/design agencies and is based on award wins from different competitions.

During the history of the ranking Magic (DDB Latvia), Not Perfect Vilnius (Lithuania) and Milk (Lithuania) has won the title 3 times, Optimist (Estonia) and Tabasco (Estonia) once.

For 2023, the new rules apply. In order to make the process fully transparent, the organizers will hereby publish the exact methodology. See the rules HERE. The Baltic Agency Ranking 2024 is different from usual. Since there was no local competition (Adwards) in Latvia in 2024, we had to adjust the methodology exceptionally for one year. Points have been calculated solely from international award shows, excluding local ones. This was the only way to ensure a fair comparison. In 2025, we will return to the original methodology.

The ranking in 2024 is following:

  1. Magic (LAT) – the best in Latvia
  2. Not Perfect Vilnius (LIT) – the best in Lithuania
  3. Deep White (LAT)
  4. Fabula Rud Pedersen (LIT)
  5. Golin (LAT)
  6. Not Perfect Tallinn (EST) – the best in Estonia
  7. Autoriai (LIT)
  8. Tabasco (EST)
  9. McCann Riga (LAT)
  10. White Label (LAT)

The CEO of the Baltic region’s top advertising agency Magic, Andris Rubins, states that their success lies in combining 30 years of experience with a creative ambition and highly motivated team of diverse talent.

For the agency, generating creative ideas that also lead to success in competitions starts with building trustworthy relationships with clients who are bold enough to do more innovative and unexpected work. “Our focus on pan-Baltic partners and campaigns have pushed us to create more universal insights that seem to work well for international jury experts,” Rubins revealed.

At the same time, he acknowledges that while they are appreciate creative awards, winning them has never been a goal in itself. “Campaigns that resonate and have a lasting impact however is.”

When it comes to the biggest challenges faced by advertising agencies today, Rubins highlights shortermism (too much focus on tactical, performance ads) and lack of courage to be bold and different. “The never-ending challenge is still winning attention in this very noisy and fragmented world,” he summarizes.

SAVE THE DATE! The grande finale of the Baltic advertising competition BalticBest 2025 will take place on August 27. We will publish further information in the spring. Stay tuned!
